Joseph Soffer graduated from New York University’s Washington Square University College in 1984 with a major in Politics. While attending College Mr. Soffer worked for a Trademark and Patent Firm helping to protect trademarks for client’s such as Rolex, First Nationwide Savings Bank and Joujou designs. Mr. Soffer graduated from Tulane University Law School in 1987 and became a member of the New York State and Connecticut Bar Associations in 1987. He began working as an Assistant District Attorney for the Nassau County District Attorney’s office in New York immediately after graduating Law School and after three years of prosecuting criminals, began private practice working for a law firm handling all aspects of legal matters involving personal injury, matrimonial, real estate and criminal defense work. In 1991 Mr. Soffer opened his own firm specializing in personal injury, matrimonial and real estate matters. He has been a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association since 1991 and devotes ninety (90%) percent of his practice to litigation..
